The little world of the Princess from the Island of Galturona

once,
in a land of frozen flowers and falling trees,
there lived a little girl and her sister.....
they lived in a lonely valley that always seemed to be waiting
for something.
one day, the older, quiet sister, whose name was Miera, decided to walk out into the beautiful meadow near their little cottage.....she heard a curious whispering from the tiny flowers;
even ants seem to be calling to her in their microscopic language.
Miera stood quietly looking upward at the sky above her. she wondered why she was drawn to seek the voices from the sky.
what was hiding behind the clouds.....what was waiting for them in the beautiful sky?
Miera's little sister, whose hair was long and blonde and delicate, her eyes were quiet and childlike, was known as Lulia. Miera had
found a mossy glen to rest in. Lulia walked into the forest and finding Miera quietly looking into the meadow of flowers, she, too, stopped to look into the sky.
Suddenly, a lovely flock of white and pale yellow birds floated and fluttered into the sky. They moved so effortlessly and quietly. Miera and Lulia looked so surprised; they looked at one another with great, happy smiles. This was what they were drawn to.....the coming of this beautiful flock of birds, whose voices and songs seem to be from Heaven itself.
Miera and Lulia walked back to their little cottage. All the frozen flowers seemed to have become as bright and fresh as a new spring day. The trees stood tall and beautiful again and the valley lost it's lonely, sad feeling.
Such a happy day again. All was lovely and beautiful again.

this was a little story that i wrote, thinking of all the lovely places I have been to and long to see again. I never had a sister and I didn't have a daughter, so I wrote a story about two sisters as someday, I thought it would be so wonderful to have a sister.
be kind to your sister and your daughter....they are your angels.

I wish all life were as beautiful and lovely as all this......

sweet is the color of blue, as pink and yellow flutter like birds and tiny ants,
the lilting of the garden, the memories that waltz back to the quiet place of dreams.....
someday, these will all be lovely again, like a sacred, precious letter that is lost for a hundred years, to suddenly return with a quiet voice and language.
yes, said the single flower
yes, sang the bird
yes to the beauty that is found, forgotten on the quiet forest floor, yes, life is as beautiful as you see.
here it all is, inside your heart, waiting to close your eyes and read to you from
the oldest
book
in
the
world.

After being artists for 21 years, we have finally opened our own gallery!! We are so thrilled!! An Amazing Day!! A New Future!!

Such a historic, wonderful, sacred day!! Our beautiful country, America, seems touched with a new light, a new heart and hope and a feeling of brightness and joy!! How my soul is touched with almost a childlike excitement and anticipation of the future! I am filled with such gratitude for this day, when the people of our country have so much closeness and comfort with each other, that there is this deserved appreciation of each other. I pray that we will all work together in being prayerful for President Obama and his family and all the people who will work with our new President, that we will have positive and supportive feelings and thoughts for them......as the work they do is perhaps more difficult than any other work done in the behalf of others. I hope that all people will be prayerful for his safety and protection and and the strength that he will need to govern and lead our county. I am so happy that our country has a leader who will lead with honour and morality and sensibility. A day that we will all remember and cherish.

poem......

a quiet walk. thoughts falling back to gentle and sweet memories.
trees, whose voices speak to me in a silent language, stand
tall
and amazing
and beautiful.
winter has a voice so quiet and peaceful, as it blankets it's soft and white delicate drops of life
onto dry lands
and saddened hills.
it's history is from far away, delicate and beautiful as well.
children walk in the snow as if they have known it forever.
i wait for the summer sun, but beyond the hills of snow is the image of myself
playing in a beautiful white wonderland, years ago,
talking to the little birds, their sweet voices are like angels
to me.
