Another Fairy House Creation displayed in our new Gallery!

This is another one of our wonderful, new little Fairy Houses that we created recently. We made it for a very nice lady in Ohio. (It is showing here in our new gallery "Marcel and Florette's Curious Menagerie"). It has so many beautiful little things in it.....a little stove in the kitchen with kettles and pots for cooking, paintings on the walls, little teapots and cups, a broom and a wheelbarrow; but the most adorable little creations, I thought, were the tiny little fairy dresses on the clothesline outside. The dresses even have little wings on them. I thought those were so cute!! (That was my husband's idea. We thought we would start making little fairy dresses to sell like these to put on our Etsy store!!)

The house is about 18" tall, is very detailed and unique and beautiful. If anyone is interested in having us make a similar Fairy House for them, let us know!! We love creating one-of-a-kind houses for people!! It's so much fun!!

Nature is so beautiful!!

I miss Spring......the happy feeling of spring, the bright colours of the flowers blooming, the lovely breeze that feels as if it is a young child dancing.

I miss the sunshine, the quiet and excited feeling of the sun. Winter is too long and dark and cold. The snow falling so quietly is lovely, but it makes me feel so alone. Spring and Summer are so beautiful and happy. I can't wait for the sunshine of spring to return so that I can feel alive and free again!!

I wrote poetry for years but haven't written anything for quite a while. here is a short poem I wrote recently.

The photos above are so beautiful.....from different books I have been enjoying lately.

silk and ribbons, quiet egrets, little children and flowers waving in a hidden draft of wind.

waiting.....wonder wonder.

what is the answer?

pink sky and dancing birds, falling in hidden drafts of wind.

a flock of ancient birds.

a vow, a hinted smile, a walking mile, a bell treating the hidden drafts of wind, that singly walk a mile.

egrets, crows and all ancient birds whose language we do not know, will someday talk with us

someday.
