think about god, think about love
hello,
i am feeling that nothing i could post right now (or really any other time, as well) would mean more to me to say than to just talk about God. all i really want to say is that i think about him, i think about the love he has for everyone. i pray a lot, actually, but tonight, i feel like i just want to say that i hope and pray that everyone will think about God more. God is amazing. He is real. He is so much more important than anything else I could post on my blog, although i am grateful for the gifts he has given me to share. I just wish and hope and pray that we will all turn to God more and be more like him. The world needs more Godly people and people who think about Him. The world needs more gentleness and kindness and love, and prayer to heal those who need help and to bring more happiness into all of our hearts.

empowered by some unseen, dancing memory of childhood......
river and light, the pounding waves.......
yet hidden away, in the soft folds of the meadow's flowers
are the beauties of the field......
pink windows into an angel's wings,
blue, as skies weep for the glory of heaven,
lavender, the colour of a smile, a child's tender heart.
stopping
to pick a delicate flower
there i find the tiniest thrones of fairyland
waiting as if empowered by some unseen, dancing memory
of childhood........in God's garden.
spring and glorious symphonies, my letters find the land of swimming moons
and remembrances not
forgotten.

Beautiful art!
I finally was able to post a picture of someone else's artwork from another site, but it took me so long to get it done. I still was not able to upload pictures from other websites that I wanted to post! Could anyone who is interested, please email me about how to post pictures from the web onto your blog on Blogger?! I have tried and tried for hours and just don't seem to be able to get it to work.
This picture is from Ulla's blog, a wonderful Russian artist.
Hope to hear from someone. I so want to post lots of pictures of artist's works that I like from their website. Would appreciate any help. Thank you!

Announcing!!! New fairy furniture art classes for children!!
We have decided to start our wonderful fairy furniture art classes for children again!! We are so excited! We have given many fantastic classes for children at public and private schools, at birthday parties, in our studio and in other people's homes. We really miss working with children and would love to come to your school or home to give our fun, magical and wonderful classes for your children. We bring all the materials and tools......your child can just bring their fantastic imagination and wonder about nature and art.
As we live in the Beverly Hills area, we are available here but can travel a little bit of a distance for the classes, depending on the size of the class. We can only give our classes on Saturdays or week day evenings on an occasional basis as we work full time and also are somewhat on call. So, please contact us about times of classes. We will bring pictures of our work, actual pieces for the children to see, tons of natural materials and glue guns, etc.
The cost is $45 per child for a two hour class, no materials fee, materials all provided. It is an absolutely enchanted and wondrous class for children and you would be amazed at what they create with the beauty and variety in nature.
We also would like to start having nature walks for children, too, to help them see all the wonderful materials they can find in nature to create their art with.
Please contact us if you are interested. We also have many more pictures of our classes and some wonderful letters of reference from parents, too.
It is a marvelous thing to see a child use their imagination, creativity and love nature to make absoutley amazing and beautiful works of art!!!
Hope to hear from you.

Can't sleep, missing family kind of pictures......and art that takes away that loneliness a little......
My husband Mike and I just got through watching Oprah's show about Bob Woodruf and his wife, the interview about his recovery. So amazing and touching. People really are strong. We are stronger than we realize. We keep each other going, don't we?!
Oprah's show is my favorite show on t.v. She also amazes me. Mike and I watch her show together a lot. Oprah does so much for others. She is another Mother Theresa, I think. I admire and appreciate her so much, (well, I admire and appreciate both Oprah and Mother Theresa more than I can express. They are both little giants on this earth).
I couldn't sleep afterwards and now I am so tired, it's taking me a while to get this written, my mind is not working very fast. I need to go to sleep so I can get up and go to church in the morning. I love going to church. It cheers me up so much. But I read some of my favorite blogs tonight......Ulla's, Curious Sofa and Elizabeth House and just felt I needed to share a few things that I love.
The first picture is of Mike and I at the Lighthouse a few Christmas's ago with our sons and family. Mike and I just felt so happy together up there in the wind and feeling so happy with our family./ That's me, teaching an art class for children (with Mike.....we taught how to make our little fairy furniture)./ Then, two of my paintings, then, some of my little fairyland furnishings:
"The Parisian Cafe". Then, (I love this picture) of Mike and our cat Sasha. She loved Mike and used to love to perch up on his shoulder while he worked on his art. So cute./ Then, our smaller Treehouse in the window in our apartment in Bellingham, Washington. Then, a beautiful little bed and table I made called "Summer in Greece", shown with two of my paintings, at an art show we did in Bellingham.
Hope you are having a nice night. Stay well and safe and keep praying that there will be peace among us all and that we can make life a happier place for everyone. Peace......everyone fed and clothed and warm and safe and happy. Pray for these things. Prayer can do miracles.
Love to you all, take care,
Debbie

I love being an artist!!!
Here are some of my little fairy furniture, paintings and photography that I have created recently. This is me in our room with some of my collages and paintings behind me. The picture is a little dark, sorry.
We are looking for a place to exhibit our treehouses (Fairy Castles). Does anyone have a suggestion as to where we could show our Fairy Castles in this area? A shop, a gallery, a museum, or other kind of business? Let us know if you have any suggestions.
Debbie
