"Kooky's Return", a wonderful, funny, charming film that is pure child!

My husband and I bought "Kooky's Return"......a film by Czech director Jan Sverak......we received it all the way from his country and we were so thrilled to have a copy. This film is so unusual,so different......it is for children, it is for adults.....it is for a timeless soul of people who remember and live childhood in their hearts. I will never, ever tire of watching this wonderful film. It brings back the feelings and dreams I had as a child. I love this movie!!!

matt damon is one of my very favorite actors, so i'm very excited to see this new film, looks great!

"The Tree", incredible new film

Charlotte Gainsbourgh is one of my most favorite actresses. She is very different and really chooses unusual films. I haven't seen all of our movies; some I would rather not see, but I do think I would love this movie. I love trees and this story sounds very spiritual. Can't wait to see it!

Hi everyone, Haven't posted anything for a while, have been down with a terribly painful back and neck problem. I must have pulled a muscle in my back or neck because I have been unable to do hardly anything in two weeks. Feels like it might even be a pinched nerve. So frustrating. Have so much to do and just have to rest or am in pain. So hopefully will be recovered soon. Wanted to tell you some exciting news! Our movie "The Enchanted Treeouse" is now on Amazon!! Kooky's Return: the most amazing movie ever made!!!!!

I am totally obsessed with this movie!!!!! I have never, ever been so excited about any film as I am about this one. "Kooky's Return" is the most amazing, imaginative, crazy, quirky, wonderful film ever made. So unusual and so funny and sweet. It is about a little teddy bear but it has the most incredible characters I have ever seen. Mostly filmed in the forest, using real, handmade little people, animals and the oddest, most curious creatures you'll ever see.......made from things from the forest, worn out fabrics, metal, plastic, all kinds of wonderful materials.

If you go to google and look for "Kooky's official page", that will take you to the real website about the film. Then go to Kooky's Facebook page and there you can see trailers of the film and the most incredible, amazing videos of the making of the movie. You can also see the film on Youtube in English. You really need to hear the story in English because it's such a great story. "Kooky's Return" is from Czechoslovakia; the director is Jan Sverak, who has done some really wonderful feature films. "Kooky's Retrun" is a feature film but it is so different, I absolutely cannot wait to see it. It is now showing in Czechoslovakia, it opened in theaters this May here, but won't be available on DVD in the U.S. until next October. I actually wrote to the director about how to purchase the film and I was so surprised that he wrote me back. So, we'll have to wait until the fall to see the actual film but the trailers and the making of the movie videos are wonderful for now. I really hope you will go to the "Kooky's Return" website and see the trailers, etc. It is so wonderful!!!!!

Characters for our new movie!!!!

We are so excited!!! Mike and I have been working on a fantastic little children's movie using our wonderful Treehouse and little characters that we've made in the past and some amazing and comical people that we made this week!!! We should have the movie done soon, just need to edit it and it will be done. We'll have it available on my Etsy store. It is called:

The Enchanted Treehouse

It is so cute and funny and just has been the most fun creating!!

These little people above will be in the second part of the film. The little lady with the green hat and beautiful beige dress doesn't have a face yet, but will soon. It will be interesting to see what Mike will create for her face.....he is the sculptor!

The first little lady is a flower girl.....she is completely made from natural materials, except for the lace trim on her rose petal dress. The funny little man with her was made by Mike and is a quirky little guy. In the movie, his name is Benevito. The lady with the green hat will be holding a candleabra and a basket (when she's finished).

The man with the cork body (isn't finished yet) is so funny. Mike sculpted his face. Isn't it amazing?! He will really look incredible when he's done. And the last little man is kind of futuristic guy. He's waiting for the finishing touches still, too.

We stayed up so late working on these five new characters. It was amazing fun!!!
