dipped in the dreams of trees.......

life has it's way of crushing down on you sometimes......
at 57, i often am feeling the weight of all the years i have lived, but even more so......i think about the many dreams and visions i have of the future i long for..... and wonder about their ability to walk upright in this world.
vague, but perhaps you understand. i wish so much for the things that i want to do to come to pass. i try, i work, i pray, i do everything that comes through my mind to do, but still i feel so far behind.
everyone in life is so different. each person has their greatness, their frailty, their humor and their passion. i so often wish we could all meet at some point where we could appreciate these gifts and then let each person walk the path they choose; learn from each other but give and share and smile that inner understanding that heals.
i enter my feelings and thoughts and creations on these pages, reaching out to people i do not know, but hope that somehow someone will appreciate my words and say they understand, so i don't feel so alone.
i am so grateful for the beauty i have found from all of you. thank you and i pray that you will feel the soft and healing love of kindness in your life.
sparrows do talk to us......their sweet and delicate and small lives are connected to something so much larger and greater. tiny birds......that carry a message from the heavens......

My Mom and Dad and me.......

Here are some pictures that reflect my life. My parents......My father and my mother. Normand and Barbara Poulshock. My father passed away several years ago. I miss him so much. He was such a gentle, kind and caring man. A musician. He was a composer and such a talented person. I think about him a lot and I feel his spirit very close sometimes. I know I will see him again.
My mother is still living. She is 80 years old and still teaches piano and singing. She still sews, drives, cooks, quilts and does a million things every day, it seems. She is amazing. I miss her, too. We talk on the phone nearly every day.
And the other picture is me.......at a dinner with all my family. My daughter in law fixed my hair in a really cute style. I like the way I look this way. Should fix it this way more often.
The paintings and collages are ones I love. I hope you like them.
It's so important to cherish and pray for our families. I miss our families being together more. We are trying to call or email them a lot and go see them, too. I love my family!!!
Take care....

My new video on Youtube works!!!

Hello everyone!! Thanks to Ulla, I found out that my little video on fairy furniture works.......on Youtube!! I had uploaded it to Youtube the other day but then couldn't find it by just searching the regular way. I was able to view it when I was in my account but couldn't see it by just searching. But today, Ulla wrote to me and said she found it right away! So just go to Youtube in the general search for videos and put in "Fairy Furniture" and you'll see it's the first one there! I am so excited!!!! My first video on Youtube. Mike and I have actually made the most fantastic little children's movie (a short) that we are excited about. We will be putting part of it on Youtube, so you can get a feeling for what it is like and then we will be selling copies of the entire movie on our website and on my Etsy shop!!!! It's probably about 30 minutes long and is so fantastic!!! It is about these wonderful little forest people who live in the Treehouse!! You'll love it! I will let you know when it is showing on Youtube, which will be very soon!!! Have fun! Debbie www.artmajeur.com/debbieschramer

My video on Youtube!!!

Hello everyone! Yesterday, I posted my first video on Youtube of our little fairy furniture. But, for some reason, when I was searching for it, I couldn't bring it up. (I could find it if I went to my account, but just searching for it outside of my account, I couldn't find it). Does anyone know what the problem might be? I want to be able to post the link to it, but couldn't figure out how because I couldn't even find it on Youtube? I would be so grateful if anyone could tell me what to do!! Thank you so much! It's called "Fairy Furniture" and it should be under natureartists. Debbie

A difficult day......but getting better

I am so grateful for hope. If it weren't for that, I think I would so easily get caught in my bad days and never get out. I think I must always be feeling, deep down......when something just goes horribly wrong.......that it can't get any worse so it has to get better.......and it did, (get better, I mean). Of course, I am sure my bad days are nothing compared to really serious things that other people deal with, like cancer, a death in the family, poverty, etc., but I felt bad enough today to make myself forget about everyone else who might be suffering and ended up getting totally immersed in my own unhappiness........ until, finally I started feeling better. What a blessing. I just wanted to share all this to say how grateful I am for the times when you feel better and I hope any of you who might be having a bad day will come out of that frustration or darkness or sadness and see and feel the warmth of the light again! Reading my favorite blogs helped me today, especially. Thank you everyone for your wonderful daily thoughts and pictures and experiences......how they uplift my spirit. Mike and I just have one computer and we share it. Sometimes, whichever one of us who is not using the computer........just sits and waits for their turn! We love reading blogs so much! (Of course, most of the time we are busy doing things, so don't worry! We don't waste our time, that much!) Anyway, I am feeling better the more I write. It just helps to communicate with people. I wanted to share some more beautiful pictures I found recently and was just going to post them, but Mike thought we should get out and go get some snacks, go for a walk and then come back and paint and do creative things, so I will post the pictures I found in a little while. Please check back later! I hope you are all feeling happy and safe and well! God bless you all!

Beauty never ends when you search for it.......

I have been having such a wonderful time using our new camera. It has inspired me so much to try different settings and lightings, backgrounds, etc. I hope you like these new photos. I have so many other pieces I should be showing, but always seem to bring these out. I promise I will show some other pieces soon. I must have over 100 beautiful pieces of little fairy furniture right now.
It's beautiful weather here in Beverly Hills. The gardeners are working hard everywhere making everything look so nice. I love going for walks in the neighborhoods here. The trees and flowers and plants are just breathtaking. I still long for the greenery of Washington, though. Mike and I both miss Washington. We lived there for such a long time. California is pretty dry and deserty. But right in this area where I live, at least it is beautiful and like a huge garden.
I hope you are having a wonderful day. I am sorry I have just mostly been posting pictures for so long. Just have so little time to write. But I truely want to start sharing my thoughts and ideas more and hope to do that soon.
Stay happy and try to do something nice for someone today!!! How that makes the world a much better place.......even by just one little act of kindness!!

beauty can heal and move us to good actions......

i am watching anderson cooper 360 and they are talking about rap music. it totally, absolutely
is shocking the way rap music has gotten so much exposure and has become so blatantly negative and offensive. i create art that is beautiful and i hope to inspire people to try to have beauty and goodness in their lives. i am so grateful for those people who are trying to stop rap music from being so repulsive. their music has gotten so low and so degrading......it is unbelieveable. i pray that we can turn people's hearts around so that they will realize the terrible harm that kind of music is causing. beauty heals and moves us to goodness and happiness.
